Services for Edward J. Wood, age 85, of Dublin, who passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Minter Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in the Minter Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Josh Wood and Rev. Ben Edwards will officiate.

Visitation will be at Minter Baptist Church Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.

Mr. Wood was a native of Laurens County and was a member of Minter Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Reginald and Catherine Evans Wood and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife; Joyce Snow Wood, of Dublin, sons; Reginald Oliver Wood of Scott, Joseph Edward (Karen) Wood of Valdosta, Marlene Elmira (Leo) Courson of Savannah, siblings; Ann Joyner of Santa Claus, Bobby (Cathy) Wood of East Dublin, Tommy (Vicki) Wood of Rockledge, 4 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be; Randy Wood, Jason Horton, Justin Wood, Reed Mimbs, Jamie Aaron, Joey Hadley.
