Services for Elaine Faulk Oxford, age 64 of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Oakdale Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Scott Davidson and Rev. W. L. Currie will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Oxford was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church, and was employed at Forstmann for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, G.D. and Hazel Faulk and a niece, Carrie Hickman. Elaine passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home. Survivors include her husband, Donnie Oxford; children, Kevin Oxford, Melinda (Ricky) Kight; brother, David (Sarah) Faulk; sister, Elizabeth Hickman (Richie Dixon) all of Dublin; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Kyle Hickman, Dan Purvis, Corey Purvis, Michael Faulk, Dylan Faulk and Blake Faulk will serve as pallbearers.
