Services for Elerba Thurston "E.T." Fowler, age 84, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2012, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Martin will officiate. Mr. Fowler was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra S. Fowler and Pearl Gordy Fowler, and two brothers, Harold Eugene Fowler and Ronald Leslie Fowler. Mr. Fowler passed away on Saturday. He is survived by his wife Mary Eudell "Del" Fowler of Dublin; daughter and son-in law Vicki and Roger Lunceford of Conyers, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law Charlie and Vickie Fowler of Dripping Springs, Texas; grandson Chad Fowler and wife Brittany; granddaughters Laura Hahn Fields and husband Chad, Valerie Hahn Pegg and husband Denny, and Kathryn Hahn Packard; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday evening at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
