Services for Elizabeth Scott Holliday age 81 of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 3, 2013 at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Grady Mimbs and Rev. Ken Rodgers will officiate. Mrs. Holliday passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Mrs. Holliday was a native of Laurens County and was a resident of Macon for many years. She was retired from Bibb Manufacturing and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie B. Scott and Ethel Ward Scott, and her loving husband of 57 years, Robert E. Holliday, brother, Bobby Scott. Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Joe) Perkins, of Juliette, Kathy (Tony) Stevens of Juliette, Eddie (Wanda) Holliday of Macon, Andy (Alisa) Holliday of Dublin, Lesa (Ricky) Maddox of Dublin, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Martha Jo (Ben) Maddox of East Dublin, Lonnie Scott, Jr., of Alabama, Jimmy (Wylene) Scott of Dublin, Ronald (Margie) Scott of Dublin, sister in law, Phyliss Scott, California, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will include Lee Perkins, Scott Perkins, Mat Smith, John Holliday, Alan Hamilton and Flint McDaniel. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Lesa Maddox, 882 Honeysuckle Road, Dublin, GA. Flowers are accepted; however memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice, 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
