Eloise W. Wolfe, age 92, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017. Services will be held at 12:00PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until funeral hour on Wednesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Matt Jett, Cory Jett, Taylor Tanner, Keaton Pope, BJ Willis, Josh Crews and William Sumner. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Tanner, Al King and Ray Willis. Mrs. Wolfe was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. She was a prior member of Centenary United Methodist Church, where she also served as church secretary and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Virginia Brown Oliver; husband, Charles L. Wolfe and son, Sammy McAlexander. Survivors include her daughter, Penny (Dewey) Mimbs, of Dublin; granddaughters, Angela (Rex) Tanner, of Dublin, Tammy (Al) King, of Forsyth, Charlotte (Ray) Willis, of Dublin, and Heather McAlexander-Tomchuck (Chris), Broomfield, NC; step-grandsons, Mark (Amy) Mimbs, of Cochran and Rob (Tandy) Forth, of Mathews, NC; 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great granddaughters.
