Emily Grace Murkerson, our beautiful ray of sunshine, left her earthly home and entered through the pearly gates of Heaven on May 6th, 2020 at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach Florida.

Emily was born April 28, 1994. She was such a free spirit and could light up a room just by her presence. She was a lover of all of God's creatures big and small. Emily spent many days in her Heaven on earth the Dominican Republic where she touched so many lives through her mission work. She was a member of Pine Forest UMC in Dublin.

She is survived by her parents, Don and Gale Murkerson; her brother and sister in law, Vaughan and Emily Murkerson; grandparents, Grace (Clyde) Carrier and LF Murkerson, and boyfriend, Sebastian  Willbanks, along with her fur babies, Asher, Max, Jack and Cora. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Doyle (Julie) Floyd, Rhonda (Robbie) Passmore, Rhetta (Dave) Fifer, Donna (John) Bearden, Dale (Robert) Fordham and Treasure (Chris) Pope, as well as cousins, Sarah Warnock, Kyle Register, Kase Warnock, Ryan Passmore, Rex Passmore, Brandon Ford, Shane Ford, Hannah Woodard, Mady Bearden, Trey Payne, Bryce Brown, Mary Claire Payne, Aubrey Bryan and Julian Fordham.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Emma Grace Murkerson, and her maternal grandfather Gerald Floyd.

Family will accept visitors at her home in Dublin on May 14th from 4-8pm and funeral will be held graveside on May 15th at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadwell at 11 am.
