Mr. Eugene Ward, age 90, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Ward was born August 12, 1931 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Eddie Burton Ward and Lilla Mae Davidson Ward, his wife, Betty Thompson Ward, a daughter, Phyllis Elaine Ward, two sons, Steve Allen Ward and Jeffery Eugene Ward, a brother, McKinley Ward, a sister, Glenda Kinchen and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Ward. He was a man that loved tractors and farming. He was also of the Baptist faith and was retired from Mohawk Carpet.

He is survived by his grandson, Russ (LuAnne) Cherry, great-grandsons, Trey Cherry, Christopher Moorman and Luke Cherry all of Adrian; five sisters, Eura Lee Browning, Rosetta Ussery, Evelene Warren, Nelda (Bobby) Graham and Marsha (Dean) Graham, a brother, Randall (Frances) Ward; a daughter-in-law, Jeanette Ward  and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville, GA with Rev. Arthur Conley officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
