Graveside services for Mrs. Eunice B. Tyson, age 94, of East Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday June 14, 2012 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Cole Morris will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Tyson was born in Laurens County to the late Samuel A. Bailey and the late Donie Sheppard Bailey. She was a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Tyson, daughter, Dot Tyson Upshaw, two brothers, Ray Bailey and Doyle S. Bailey, Sr. and two sisters, Erna Walden and Ruby Tyson. Mrs. Tyson passed away on June 12, 2012. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Carolyn Tyson, of Dallas, GA, four grandchildren; Jay and Caleb Tyson, Jessica (Donald) Stoner and Ashley Stiles; four great-grandchildren, Emma, Sydnee, Gabriel and Mikaela Stoner; four sisters-in-law, Margaret O. Bailey of East Dublin,Blanche Wagner of Dublin, Dora Tyson of Greenville, NC and Jeffie Mae Smith of Macon, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Tyson's grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
