Biography Services for Evelyn Marie Brown, age 86 of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Dexter Assembly of God. Pastors Brad Nowell and Larry Waldrep will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brown Died Saturday, April 2, 2011. Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Dexter. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Davis and the late Mary Elizabeth Warren Davis. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and was a devout Christian and active member of Dexter Assembly of God Church until failing health. She was retired from Oxford Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Brown, daughter, Connie Boney, great grandson, Mason Johnson, sisters and brothers, Ruth Lord, Dorothy Mullis, Ellis Davis, James Davis, and Laymond Davis. She is survived by her son, Eddie (Judy) Brown of Dublin, grandchildren, Angela Brown Walker, Jennifer Brown Johnson, Michelle Boney Cooper, Jamie Boney, and step grandson, Rodney Bruce. Ronnie Mullis, Terry Boney, Davis Mullis, Danny Davis, Elija Mullis and Bobby Lord will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
