Evelyn Payne Adams Evans, age 83 of Rentz, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Centerville Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ken Brogden will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour at the church on Thursday. Mrs. Evans worked at Shamrock Industries and Biljo until retirement. She attended Centerville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Parkey P. Payne and Vianna Daniel Payne; husbands, David Wade Adams and Richard Cullen Evans; son, David Joe Adams; grandchild, Nicholas Lance Barfield and 16 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children, Ronnie Adams of Montrose, Sharon Greene of East Dublin, Jack Adams (Paula) of Montrose, Emory Adams (Angie) of Dublin, Denise Mullis (Donnie) of Cadwell and Greg Adams (Denise) of Montrose; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Annalee Evans of Cochran; brothers, Gary Payne of Sparta, Wayne Payne of Bonaire and Jerry Payne of Dallas and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Morgan Perry, John Evans, Dustin Adams, Cory Adams, Victor Adams and David Morgan.
