Services for Evelyn Moore, age 69, of East Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Union Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Moore died Friday, February 24, 2012. Mrs. Moore was born in Front Royal, VA to the late Jay Franks and the late Betty Lee McDonald Mills. She retired from Forstmann and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her sisters, Duelene Morris and Gayle Lawrence. Survivors include her husband, Leon E. Moore, Jr., of East Dublin; children, Dwayne (Tammy) Gibson, of Cadwell, Michael (Connie) Gibson, of Dublin, Leon R. Moore, of East Dublin, Litt (Jodi) Moore, of Fayettville, NC, and Lynn (Ronnie) Carr, of Lizella; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Alicia (Alan) Carroll, of Dublin; brothers, Michael (Shirley) Franks, Alex Franks, both of East Dublin, and Donald Wayne (Brenda) Mills, of White Post, VA; brother-in-law, Leon Morris, of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews. Jamie Linn, Jr., Sonny Warnock, Keith Collins, Kenny Franks, Clinton Hampton, and Robert Gibson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideon International, P. O.
