Services for Everett Jefferson Windham, age 80, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 24, 2017, at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery. Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. Kevin Tanner will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Mr. Windham died Friday, July 21, 2017.

Mr. Windham was a lifelong member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He served faithfully as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Minister of Music for over fifty years and retired from Forstmann, the Senior Citizens Center/Meals on Wheels and Laurens County Recycling Center.

Mr. Windham was preceded in death by his parents, Ethan Allen, "Buddy" Windham, Sr. and Bessie Harden Windham; and brothers, James Windham, Charles Windham, Clovis Windham, Delmas Windham, Hansel Windham, and Allen Windham.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Daphine Bracewell Windham, of Dublin; sons, Michael (Edie T.) Windham, and Chris (Diane) Windham, all of Dublin; grandchildren, Amanda W. (Will) Vonier, Melissa W. (Wilkes) Fraser, Kellie W. Hair, and Kristin Windham, all of Dublin; five great grandchildren; sister, Leona Evans; brother, Franklin (Ruby) Windham, all of Macon.

Larry Windham, L. C. "Buster" Evans, John Robinson, Michael Hooks, Wilkes Fraser, and Will Vonier will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Rock Springs Baptist Church Choir.
