Services for Frances Rogers Schell, age 69, of Rentz, will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, June 30, 2014, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rentz Cemetery. Dr. Larry Daniel will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Mrs. Schell died on Friday, June 27, 2014, at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Schell, retired seamstress for Oxford, enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. One of her favorite hobbies was dancing with her friends at the local V.F.W. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Schell; her parents, Willie Lee Rogers and Beatrice Horne Rogers; sons, Rodney Register and Johnnie Clayton Schell; brothers, Jimmy Rogers, and David Rogers; and sister, Jean Mercer. Survivors include her children, Roy (Brenda) Register, of Waldorf, MD, Tony (Rose) Register, of Rentz, Judy (Billy) Hart, of Dudley, Sue (Jeff) Davidson, of Dexter; grandchildren, Heather Hines, of Dublin, Tonya Faye (Andrew) Anello, of Fort Campbell, KY, Jonathan May, of Dudley, Sydney Davidson, Abbey Davidson, both of Dexter; brother, Henry Rogers, of Glenwood; sister, Elizabeth (Lawson) Jones, of Jacksonville, GA; step-granddaughters, Christi (Harry) Shinholster, Chassity Evans, both of Dublin; and several great grandchildren. Robert Roberson, Ronnie Dixon, Mark Baker, Tony Gay, Don Beck, and Danny Clements will serve as pallbearers.
