Frankie J. Neumans, age 82, of East Dublin, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Poplar Springs South Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Bleckley County. Rev. Lewis Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Mathes, Halle Matula, Josh Tompkins. T.J. Neumans, Derek Powell and Ron Johnson.

Mrs. Neumans was born in Laurens County to late Benjamin and Blanche Pettis Johnson. She was retired from Mohawk and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Melvin Neumans and two sons, Bobby and Tommy Neumans.

She is survived by daughters, Charlotte Kenetha NeSmith and Diane Mathes, both of East Dublin and Angie Matula Powell (William) of Dublin; grandchildren, Matthew Wade Mathes (Jo), T.J. Neumans (Jennifer), Halle Matula, Brandy Neumans (Barry), Tyia Tompkins (Josh), Bruce NeSmith (Tanya), James NeSmith (Penny) and Phyllis Claxton (David); sister, Betty Jo Allen of Byron; special niece, Paula Allen of Byron and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
