Mr. Garnett Woods, age 98 of Hawkinsville, formerly of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. The family will receive friends at 2:00PM on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Services will follow at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Maxine Woods; daughter, Brenda and brother, Leroy Woods. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Woods Campbell (Barry) of Perry; grandchildren, Bob Cook (Leigh) of Keller, TX and Lori Chaney of Warner Robins; and four great-grandchildren In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
