Services for Gary M. Smith, age 73 of Dudley, will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral with burial to follow in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ed Ellington and Dennis Johnson will officiate. Mr. Smith was a member of Dudley United Methodist Church. He was retired from Skeeters Body Shop. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Smith; mother, Jessie M. Smith Farrow and brother, Billy Ray Smith. Mr. Smith passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Louise Johnson Smith of Dudley; children, Patsy (Phillip) Manning, Dennis (Joy) Johnson, all of Dublin and Patricia (Claude) Lewis of Aynor, SC; grandchildren, Julie Hooks, Jason Manning, Kimberly Lewis, Christopher Lewis, Paige Lewis, Pam Sahli, Phillip Shepherd and Patrick Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jax Manning, Linc Hooks, Maddie Hooks, Jakob Sahli, Allie Sahli and Lydia Sahli and sister, Patricia Ann Smith. Pallbearers will be Jason Manning, Dan Hooks, Christopher Lewis, Phillip Shepherd, Patrick Johnson, Kasey Sahli and James Garrett. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
