George Eugene "Gene" Walker, age 73, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020.

Mr. Walker was born in Laurens County on February 14, 1947, to the late George W. and Ruby Heath Walker. He retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base and was a faithful member of Springdale Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Fulford.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Walker, of Dublin; daughter, Becki Rutledge (Don), of Leesburg, GA; grandchildren, Josh Register, of Ft. Gordon, GA, Noah, and  Savannah Fulford, both of Savannah, and James "J.D" and Hannah Rutledge, both of Leesburg, GA.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville. Rev. Paul Wilkes and Rev. George Grimes will officiate.
