Geneva Mae Smith, age 77, of Adrian, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

Mrs. Smith was born in Laurens County on November 14, 1943, to the late Henry and Hatty Crabb Smith. She was a member of the Scott Church of Christ and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Soles "Fat Granny"; grandson, Christopher Carr; and sister, Betty Angelyn Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Smith; children, Randy Holt (Carol), of Avera, Ricky Holt (Monica), of Louisville, Tim Holt (Lindy), of Jefferson, Teresa Horner (Steven), of Clanton, AL, and Michael Holt (Soni), of East Dublin; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Verneaze Tucker (Elton), of Warner Robins; brother, Darrell Smith, of Albany; step-daughter, Virginia Angell, of Roswell, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM at Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 1329 Old Savannah Road, East Dublin. Walter Haywood, Steve Bullington, Fay Key, and Oliver Ferrari will conduct the services.

Pallbearers will be Randy Holt, Ricky Holt, Tim Holt, Michael Holt, Steven Horner, and David Tucker.
