Geraldine (Fordham)
Johnson
Nov 9, 1933 — Jul 13, 2026
Geraldine Fordham Johnson, age 92, of Dublin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in 1933 in Lauren's County, Geraldine lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and love. From a very young age, she was a devoted member of Centerville Baptist Church, where her relationship with Christ grew deep and steadfast. Her faith was not just something she spoke about; it was something she lived every day. She served the Lord with a humble and joyful heart, becoming an example to all who knew her.
In 1954, she married the love of her life, Paul Johnson. Together, they built a strong and loving home, filled with faith, laughter, and dedication to one another. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to commitment and devotion. In 2015, Paul went on before her, and though she carried that loss, her strength and faith never wavered.
She was incredibly proud of her family. Her children, grand children, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment. She poured her love into each generation, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering support.
She also spent many years working at Sherri's Hallmark in the Dublin Mall, where she formed lasting friendships and touched the lives of so many with her warm spirit and welcoming smile.
To know her was to feel loved. She had a gentle presence, a faithful heart, and a life that reflected Christ in the way she cared for others. Her legacy will live on through the family she cherished so deeply and the faith she held so firmly.
While we grieve her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the promise we hold in our hearts that she is now at peace, reunited with her beloved Paul, and resting in the presence of the Lord she served so faithfully.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
In addition to her beloved husband, Paul, she was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtice Neumans; father, Cevera Fordham, and brother, Billy Fordham.
She is survived by her children: Lisa Jenkins (Allan) of Covington; Renee Johnson (Rufus) of Dublin; Chuck Johnson (Kim) of Minter; Heather O'Neal of Dublin; and Kyle Holliday (Hallie) of Dublin; grandchildren: Anna Anthony and Brayden O'Neal, both of Dublin; Angela Holliday, Ellie Holliday, Nina Holliday, and Jake Jenkins (Krystal), all of Conyers, Logan Johnson (Blake), and Boone Barwick; sisters, Linda Pennington of Dublin, Elaine Ivey of Harrison, and Patsy Windham of Cummings; sisters-in-law, Betty Scarboro and Janice Johnson, both of East Dublin, and several nieces and nephews.
We will gather to honor and celebrate her remarkable life as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, on Thursday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Minter Cemetery. Chaplain Roger Holly will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Holliday, Jake Jenkins, Brayden O'Neal, Chase Cody, JT Bowers, Ricky Williams, Mack Lord, and Caleb Ivey.11/09/1933
