Graveside services for Gladys Kennedy, age 64, of Cadwell, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Kennedy passed away Monday, December 14, 2015. Mrs. Kennedy was a loving wife, mom, and granny. She had one big heart of gold and taught everyone how to love strong. Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her father, Hansel Turner. Survivors include her husband, Valda Kennedy; children, Mary Gladys Kennedy, Berry (Valerie) Kennedy, Hank (Kay) Kennedy; grandchildren, Bryan Kennedy, Marie Kennedy, Matt Kennedy; mother, Nancy Nice; and sister, Laverne Daniel.
