Services for Gloriatean Jackson Brown, age 69, of East Dublin, GA will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rockledge Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. James Covington and Dr. Joe Solcum. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Golden Jackson and the late Lillie Pearl Mathis. She was retired from Mohawk Industries. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Brown died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Fairview Park Hospital after an extended illness. Survivors include her husband, Robert Brown of East Dublin, three daughters; Robbie (Gary) Gamiza of Twin City, Debra Ann (Rusty) Johnson and Shelia Marie (Jody) Evans, both of East Dublin, four sons; Robert F. (Delia) Brown of Kathleen, Danny Ray Brown, Randy (Wanda) Brown and Timmy Lee (Dawn Shepard) Brown all of East Dublin, three sisters; Norma Dixon of East Dublin, Berlin Lewis and Mary Seal Hightower both of Dublin, two brothers, Pete Jackson of Cochran and Donnie Jackson of Dublin, twenty grandchildren; Tammy Grimes; Jason, Jeremy and Kevin Gamiza; Amanda Sierra; Sharon, Hailey and B.J. Brown; Danielle Hanson; D.J. Brown; Sara Stapleton; Brandon and Eric Watson; Ashley Brown, Brooke Keene; Robert, Harley, Ashton and Daniel Evans and Jasmine Shepard, eight great-grandchildren; Amber and Austin Grimes, Shane Gamiza, Hannaha Brown, Alyssa and Brandon Hanson; Brandon Jr. and Melina Watson, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nicolas Dixon, D.J. Brown, Billy Dixon, Kelvin Tanner, Jimmy Dixon and Jim Brown. Visitation will be held on day Saturday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The family may be contacted at 117 Mary Drive in East Dublin.
