Services for Glynn Patrick "Pat" Brown, age 53, of East Dublin, GA will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Reverend Tim Lumley and Pastor Wayne Dawkins will officiate. Mr. Brown was a member of the Crossroad Ministries and the Adult Sunday School Class. He proudly served in the United States Army Reserves. He was preceded in death by his father, Terrance Vinson Brown, Jr. and a brother, Jackie Brown. He passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. He is survived by his mother, Mildred J. Payne of East Dublin; six sisters, Sheila Greer of East Dublin, Kay (Jimmy) Scarborough of Dublin, Susan (Raymond) Knight of Dexter, Jerrie Harden of Dublin, Angela (Terry) Shortland and Allison (Tim) Lumley of East Dubiln; four brothers, Ted Brown of Lexington, SC, Greg Brown of Montrose, Ronnie Brown of East Dublin and Teddy Brown of Orlando, FL; daughter, Vickie Brown of Deland, FL; two step-daughters, Crystal Rountree and Jessie Rountree of Dublin and a step-son, Gerald Rountree of Arizona. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. They may be contacted at home of Mildred J. Payne, 700 Northside Drive in East Dublin.
