Glynn Melton, age 69, of Dublin, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Scott Melton, Kyle Melton, Nick Campbell, Aaron Brandt, John Ivey and Bill Smith will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Melton was born in Laurens County to the late Emory and Clio Wilkes Melton. He retired from the State of Georgia, where he worked as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and was owner of Melton's DUI School. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phil Melton.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Phillips Melton, of Dublin; step-sons, John Ivey (Evonne) and Tim Ivey (Tammy), both of Dublin; granddaughters, Gracie Ivey, of Dublin, and Caroline Swain, of Dudley; great-granddaughters, Harper Tarpley, of Dublin, and Madilyn Swain, of Dudley; brothers, Rickey Melton (Lynn), and Don Melton (Gwen), both of Dublin, and a host of nieces and nephews.
