Grace Warnock Dover, age 96, of Dublin, passed away on October 17, 2022.

Mrs. Dover was born in Sandersville, Ga., on November 12, 1925, to the late Dudley Green Warnock and the late Alma Braddy Warnock. She lived in Tarrytown, Ga., from birth until 1943, when she moved to Ailey, Ga, and worked at Oxford Industries. She moved to Dublin in 1945 and continued to work at Oxford Industries until 1970. She also briefly worked at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center from 1952 until 1955 before returning to Oxford Industries until her retirement. In 1980, she began working as a personal sitter and continued until 1995. Mrs. Grace resided at Dublin Place from 2012 until her passing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Dover, Sr., sisters: Bertha (Lamar) Waller, Letha (Braxton) McDonald, Lillian (Ray) Humphrey, and Earline Warnock; brother, Julian (Mervin) Warnock; and her close friends, Janet Douglas, Jackie Davis, and Nell Walker.

Survivors include her son, W.C. Dover, Jr., (Andriea) of Dublin; daughter, Gayle Stinson (Bruce) of Dublin; granddaughters, Hannah Dover Mimbs (Tyler) of Adrian and Kristi Durden (Mark) of Dublin; grandsons, Cameron Dover (Alyssa) of Adrian, Easton Dover, of Warner Robins, and Blake (Anna) Stinson of Eatonton; great-grandsons, Ryker and Jentson Dover, and several nieces and nephews.

A service for Mrs. Dover will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Scott Morrison and Rev. Gregg Warnock will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
