Grace Bennett (Johnson) Griffith, 91, of Dublin, GA. died May 9, 2016, in Montgomery, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour. Rev. Joel Dent will officiate. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and the Ben F. Williams Sunday School Class in Dublin. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her sister Anne Knight of Dexter, GA: son, Keith (Wyvonne) Johnson of Pike Road, AL: daughter, Loye (David) Moorer of Wetumpka, AL: granddaughter Jamie (James) Ellis of Nashville, TN: grandson, Brett (Megan) Johnson and their son Luke of Pike Road, AL: step-children (she preferred to call them her other children) James (Becky) Griffith of Spartanburg, SC, Robert Griffith of Lawrenceville, GA and Ellen Griffith of Bonaire, GA: one step-granddaughter Sarah (Eric) Gray of Spartanburg, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Plonnie Bennett; her brother, Oliver Bennett, Jr.; and husbands, Rex Johnson and Robert Griffith. Pallbearers will be: Dan Knight, Randy Bennett, Terry Rogers, Johnny Payne, Billy Adams and George Durden, and the Ben F. Williams Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 400 Woods Avenue, Dublin, GA 31021
