Services for Harrell John Daniel, age 79 of East Dublin, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Brother Larry Little will officiate. He died on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Mr. Daniel was born in Cochran, GA to the late Jessse D. and Julia Barrs Daniel. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and Great Northern Construction. Mr. Daniel was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Ward Daniel. The family asks everyone to wear UGA Football colors, hats or shirts to his memorial service. Survivors include his children, Larry Ward of Wrightsville, Timothy Ward of Daytona Beach, FL, Anthony Ward of Macon, Michael Ward of E. Dublin, Carol Forgette of Lumber City, siblings, Inez Pipkin of Cochran, Jessie Daniels of Forsyth, Emmett Daniel of Forsyth, Lamar Daniel of Macon, Tommy Daniels of Cochran, and Sue Sanders of Cochran, 14 Grandchildren
