Services for Harrell Clayton Rogers, age 88, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Woodland Heights Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial in Macon. Rev. Harrell D. Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Wednesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Rogers died Monday, February 2, 2015. Mr. Rogers, a sales clerk at Robins Air Force Base, was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Rogers and Bessie Lane Rogers; wife, Christine Gay Rogers; and brother, Bill Rogers. Survivors include his sons, Harrell D. (Gail) Rogers, of Dublin, Dr. Tim (Dawn Moore) Rogers, of Hampden, ME; grandchildren, Sherry Rogers Kinzel, of Bellville, OH, Brenten Rogers, of Chicago, IL, Brandy Rogers Hubbard, of Winder, Sarah Rogers Kull, of Chicago, IL, Tyler Moore, of Hampden, ME; nine great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.
