Services for Harriet E. "Patty" Taylor, age 89, of Dublin, Georgia will be held at 10:000AM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Pine Forest United Methodist Church. Dr. Joel Dent will officiate. A private family burial will be held at Melrose Cemetery in Swansea, SC. She passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and the Ladies Fellowship Class. She earned a Bachelor of Art Degree in Music from Coker College. Mrs. Taylor taught piano lessons for over thirty years and was an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Benjamin Keith Edwards; mother, Harriet Keith Edwards and husband, Lowell James Taylor. The family wishes to thank the staff of Serenity Hospice for their loving care. Survivors include her son, Mark Taylor of Savannah, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Debran Taylor ( Jim) Braziel of Dublin, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Jay (Amy) Taylor of North Augusta, SC; five grandchildren and brother, Tilman Keith (Alice) Edwards, M.D. of North Augusta, SC. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 400 Woods Ave., Dublin, GA 31021.
