Harvey H. Stewart, age 75 of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Pine Forest United Methodist Church. Interment will be held privately. Dr. Joel Dent and Rev. Wes Moye will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until service time. Mr. Stewart was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a 1957 graduate of Wrightsville High School, where he was voted "Wittiest in Class". Harvey was a retired home builder and known to those who knew him best as a "jack of all trades". He was an avid fisherman and gardener but his deepest love was for his family. He was a devoted husband for 52 years, loving father and grandfather. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Hugh Stewart and Doris Edge Fountain. Survivors include his wife, Karlene Parker Stewart of Dublin; daughter, Teresa Roberts (Brad) of Forsyth; son, Ryan Stewart of Dublin; grandson, Michael Stewart of Dublin; granddaughter, Michaella Stewart of Dublin; sisters, Louise Shackleford and Margie Bailey, both of Dublin and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
