Funeral service for Hattie Mae Scarbrough, age 87, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 8, 2017, in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Macon. Rev. Don Rackley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Mrs. Scarbrough died Thursday, May 4, 2017. Mrs. Scarbrough was a member of Concord Baptist Church, in Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. Scarbrough, and parents, William Lilious and Lona Viola Ward Brown, two brothers, Willard Brown and Grover Brown, sister, Alma Scarbrough, sister-in-law, Hilda Brown, and brother-in-law, Clarence Scarbrough. Survivors include her children, William Randall Scarbrough, of Titusville, FL, Diane Scarbrough Spradley, of Centerville, Karen Scarbrough Jones, of Milledgeville, and Tony R. Scarbrough, of Temple; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers, Delmas Brown (Lucille) and W.L. Brown (Rhonda) both of Dublin, sister –in-law, Betty Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
