Services for Hazel Faulk age 83 of Cedar Grove, will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Oak Dale Baptist Church. Rev. W. L. Currie and Pastor Scott Davidson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Faulk was a native of Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late Jesse McGlohon and the late Betty Shannon McGlohon. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and was active in the WMU. Mrs. Hazel was also preceded in death by her husband, George Doris Faulk, granddaughter, Carrie Hickman and one brother and three sisters. Mrs. Faulk passed away at her home Saturday, August 9, 2014. Survivors include children, David (Sarah) Faulk of Cedar Grove, Elaine (Donnie) Oxford of Cedar Grove, and Elizabeth Hickman (Richie Dixon) of Dublin, 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister, Mary Lou Riffe of Catawba, NC. Mrs. Faulk's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
