Henri Joseph
Arsenault
Mar 13, 1951 — Jan 6, 2023
Henri Joseph Arsenault, 71, of East Dublin, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in his beloved Prince Edward Island, Canada, to the late Joseph and Elva Arsenault, Henri grew up in Schuylerville, New York, and Hollywood, Florida, before relocating in 2007, to East Dublin, Georgia, with the love of his life, wife Shiela (Bedell) Arsenault, whom he married in 1975. He was most proud of both his Canadian heritage and his American citizenship.
Henri was a man of many gifts which he shared with all he met. As square dance instructors, Henri and Shiela made many life-long friends; he enjoyed life to the fullest, was an accomplished chef, and applied himself fully to several careers and hobbies over the years. He most enjoyed his volunteer work as a cook for the East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center and his work as a delivery driver for Great American Truck Parts.
He enjoyed traveling, cruising, yard sailing, collecting, and most of all, spending time with his much-loved family, especially all his grandchildren. Besides his parents, Henri was predeceased by his brother Alfred Arsenault, his brother-in-law Jim Martin and many ancestors.
He is survived by his wife, Shiela; daughters, Crystal (David) Kulpa and Sarah Ray; grandchildren, Allie, Layla, and Maddie Ray, Elizabeth Chastain and Jackson Kulpa; sisters, Thelma (Jim) Hack, Jeannette Martin, Leona (Whitney) Colvin, Rose Arsenault (Frank Smith); brother, Paul (Sandra) Arsenault; Shiela's brothers and sisters and their families; Aunt Lucie MacDonald, many nieces and nephews, and friends too numerous to count.
Friends may call on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 10th in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kenny Rowland will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center, 204 Hawkins Street, East Dublin GA 31027, would be appreciated, or to the charity of your choice.
