Hettie June Lucas, age 89, of Dublin, passed away on March 21, 2021.

Mrs. Lucas was born to the late Mr. Eben Jones Sr. and Mrs. Agnes Brown Jones. She retired as a crew member of the local Burger King and was a member of Blue Water Baptist Church. She was known by her family to be a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband's, James Lucas and Obie Mackey, and brothers, Don Jones, and Eben Jones Jr.

Mrs. Lucas is survived by her children, Angeline Wood (Gene) of Dexter, Brenda Stevens (Frank) of Dublin, and Riley Mackey of Dublin; grandchildren, Lynn Howard (Tracey), Scott Wood, Adam Wood (Mary), Kevin Stevens (Whitney), Stacey Upshaw (Chad), Brett Stevens (Heather), and Brittney Mackey, 11 great-grandchildren also survive.

Services for Mrs. Lucas will be held graveside Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM. Pastor David Rowe will officiate.
