Services for Hilda Evans Ivey, age 79 of Augusta, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, April 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery. Steven Wyatt will officiate. Mrs. Ivey was born in Cadwell to the late Bertrel Evans and the late Opal Faulk Griffin. She lived most her life in Augusta and retired from Southern Bell after 31 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Cochran; brother, Edward Evans and sister, Sue Rigsby. Mrs. Ivey passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. She is survived by two sons, Ernie Cochran of Rentz and Monty (Anita) Cochran of Dublin; grandchildren, Benji Cochran, Jennifer Cochran and Timmy Cochran, all of Rentz and Alison Cochran of Dublin; brother, Wayne Evans of Dublin and sister, Jean (Joey) Armstrong of Augusta.
