Services for Hollis H. Hall, age 81, of Dublin, will be held Tuesday, March 19, at 1:00 PM at Dublin First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Don Hicks and Rev. Myron Wise officiating. Burial will be in the Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Hamburg State Park Road, Mitchell, GA at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Hall was born in Norristown, GA, to the late James Hall and the late Odessa Durden Hall. Mr. Hall was a member of the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. He was retired from the Department of Agriculture, was vice president of McConnell's 5&10 Store, Owner of Hall's Variety Store in Sandersville, and was former member of the Lions Club and president of Downtown Merchants in Sandersville. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Licensed Ham Radio Operator. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Hall and son Joe Hall. He passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013. Survivors include his wife, Emily T. Hall of Dublin, children, John (Laurie) Hall of Cumming, Phyllis Hall of Elberton, Dennis (Carol) Davis of Dublin, Gwen Davis of Arlington, VA, Andy (Robin) Davis of Lakeland, FL, Greg Davis of Dublin, Mark (Charlene) Davis of Blythewood, SC, sister, Dorla (Seab) Clark of Swainsboro, GA, 12 grandchildren including Scott Hall of Savannah and Shane Hall of Atlanta and 11 great grandchildren. Bob Reeves, David Giles, Peter Pastore, Larry Denson, Shannon Roland, Jim Hall, Robbie Hodge, and Caulion Peacock will serve as pallbearers.
