Services for Hugh Craig, age 93, of Dublin, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 28, 2011 at First United Methodist Church. Dr. Jack Key and Rev. Thad Haygood will officiate. A brief family interment service will follow at Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Jep and Carol Craig, 2302 Peacock Drive, Wednesday from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM, and Thursday from 10:00 AM until funeral hour at First United Methodist Church. Mr. Craig was born in Lawrenceville, GA, the son of the late Gladstone Mitchell Craig and the late Katherine O'Farrell Craig. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Past President of Georgia Agribusiness Council, Past President of Georgia Livestock Marketers Association, Past President of the Dublin Country Club, Past Director of Dublin Laurens Chamber of Commerce, Past Director of the Citizens and Southern Bank. Mr. Craig was a US Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was retired owner of Jepeway-Craig Commission Co. Inc. Mr. Craig was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Jepeway Craig. He passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. He is survived by his children, Jep (Carol) Craig Marie (Joe) Hooks all of Dublin, Grandchildren, Callie Craig of Atlanta, Bryan Craig of Atlanta, Jay (Lisa) Hooks of Vidalia, Craig (Heather) Hooks of Greenville, SC, Great Grandchild, Emma Kate Hooks of Vidalia and devoted friend, Shelby Sanders of Dublin. Stephen Hardy, Brewer Holmes, Doug Hall, Louie Curry, Scott Beasley, Tom Holliday, Frances Lewis, Dent Jackson, Jr., and Dr. Monty Shuman will serve as pall bearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in th the donor's charity of choice in memory of Mr. Craig
