Services for Hunter Caleb Mimbs, age 18, of Rentz, GA will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at West Laurens High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers will officiate. Hunter was born January 19, 1993 in Dublin, GA. He was a member of Baker Baptist Church and worked part time for the City of Rentz. Hunter was a senior at West Laurens High School and looked forward to graduating on May 28th. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clinton Foskey. Hunter passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Tony and Amy Foskey Mimbs of Rentz; sister, Tori Mimbs of Rentz; grandparents; Mildred Foskey of Rentz, James and Pam Mimbs of Cadwell; aunt Barbara Adams of Cadwell; three uncles, Jimmy (Twila) Foskey of Rentz, Jody (Terri) Mimbs and Jason Mimbs both of Cadwell and numerous other family members. Pallbearers will be Stan Wright, Brian Scarborough, Mark Mimbs, Jimmy Foskey, Michael Coleman and Josh Bedingfield. Hunter's closest friends will serve as Honorary Escorts. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
