Services for Iris Delaine Smith Bedingfield, age 67, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 12, 2014, at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Scott and Rev. Joey Diers will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church. Mrs. Bedingfield died Saturday, May 10, 2014. Mrs. Bedingfield was preceded in death by her parents, William Ira Smith and Ioma Weehunt Smith, sister, Dorothy Ussery, brother, Tommy Smith, son, Rex Bedingfield, and granddaughter, Courtney Loyd. Survivors include her sons, Dwayne (Robyn) Bedingfield, of Danville, and Joey Bedingfield, of Wrightsville; grandchildren, Hunter and Alyssa Bedingfield, Caleb, Jacob, and Kara Bedingfield, Joshua (Chasity) Bedingfield, Roni Bedingfield; sisters, Shirley Tomlinson, and Bernice (John Wesley) Hodges; brothers, Roger (Patricia) Smith, and Danny (Donna) Smith. Hunter Bedingfield, Caleb Bedingfield, Jacob Bedingfield, Josh Bedingfield, Reggie Warren, and Paul Mullis will serve as pallbearers.
