Mr. J.L. Cherry, age 87 of Dublin, passed away Saturday, November 09, 2019.  Mr. Cherry was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, farming and tractors.  He helped anyone in need and loved his family deeply.

Mr. Cherry was preceded in death by his parents, William Clyde Cherry and Georgia Rix Cherry, his wife Lela Mae Gamble Cherry, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include sons; Kenneth (Debbie) Jones of Leesburg, Bubba (Angela) Tittle of Griffin, grandchildren; Wendy Cooper, Keith Jones, Kevin (Katie) Jones, Derek  (Shauna) Reynolds, Joseph Reynolds, Amanda Tittle, Blake Tittle, Caitlyn Tittle, 17 great grands and 1 great great grandchild, brother; Talmadge (Scarlett) Cherry, sisters; Reba (Terry) Robinson, Mary Flowers, numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Cherry will be held from 2:00 PM until  3:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM,  Wednesday, November 13, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery.  The family may be contacted at the home of George and Libby Egas.

Keith Jones, Kevin Jones, Joseph Reynolds, Blake Tittle, Sam Lowery and Craig Williams will serve as pallbearers.
