Services for Jack Ray Baggett, Sr., age 60 of Rentz, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers and Jeff Hanley will officiate. He passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Mr. Baggett was a member of Baker Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. He was a volunteer fireman with the Rentz Fire Department for over 25 years. Mr. Baggett was employed with MCC Industrial Contractors. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Rufus and Mary Frances Fountain Baggett; son, Dan Kirkley and a brother, Hugh Baggett. He is survived by his wife, Frances A. Baggett of Rentz; daughter, Jennifer Howell of Rentz; sons, Jack "Bo Jack" Baggett, Jr. and Jim Brown, both of Rentz; sister, Ellen Fountain of Rentz; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers-in-law, James Arrington of East Dublin and Charles Arrington, of Cadwell; father-in-law, Willie Arrington of Cadwell and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Frankie Bullard, Bubba Bailey, Dillon Pettis, Vic Cooper, Jimmy Darsey and Kevin Baggett. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Baker Baptist Church.
