Funeral services for Jackie Rose Burch Edge, age 70, of Dublin, GA will be held at 4:30 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Billy Glosson and Rev. Wayne McDaniel will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:30PM until funeral hour. Jackie passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 after a long illness. She was a graduate of Middle Georgia College, Georgia Southern University and also attended the University of Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mamie Jones Burch and Jack Burch, daughter-in-law of the late Willie Pearl Rogers Edge and Massey Edge. She was predeceased in death by her beloved son Ron Edge. Ronald and Jackie lived in Perry, GA for 20 years before moving to Dublin in 1982. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on June 18, 2012. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her beloved grandson, Seth Edge; daughter-in-law, Tammy Edge; aunt, Winnie Edge Willis; several cousins and devoted friends of 60 years, Eva and Charles Parker and Lois Stanley. The family wishes to thank the family of Hazel Hagan and Donald and Shannon Greene for their support. Also, a special thanks to Rev. William Glosson for his love and support.
