Graveside Services for James Milo Evans, age 93, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2012 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Andy Brownley will officiate. Mr. Evans was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII and a Quartermaster of the Moye Browning VFW in Cedar Grove. Mr. Evans was a farmer and owner and operator of Evans Transportation Company before retiring in 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Evans and Fannie Alligood Evans; wife, Juanita Parish Evans, and a son, Tommy Gregg Evans. Mr. Evans passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012. He is survived by a son, James (Barbara) Evans of Dublin; two grandchildren, Tonya (Matt) Adcock and Ken (Kim) Evans, of Dublin and three great-grandchildren, Katie Adcock, Tanner Evans and Garrett Evans, all of Dublin. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
