James Ottis Faulk, age 92, of Rentz, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Rentz Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour on Saturday at the church. Pallbearers will be Barron Hobbs, Bart Hobbs, Jimmy Skipper, Caleb Skipper, Edwin Avery, and Bennie Daniel. Mr. Faulk was born in Laurens County to the late John A. and Minnie Alligood Faulk. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Georgia Power Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lina Barron Faulk, and brother, William O. Faulk. Survivors include a nephew, Mike Faulk (Kathy), of Eatonton; niece, Linda Faulk, of Rentz, and great-niece, Laura Faulk, of McDonough.
