Services for James William Fordham, age 82, of Dublin will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, June 24, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Jenny Jackson-Adams will officiate. He passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Mr. Fordham was the son of the late Bernice Ivey Fordham and the late Willie Lou Lord Fordham. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church. He was retired from Fayetteville PWC and Daniel Construction Company and a prior member of Laurens County Sportsman Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Melanie Grace Fordham and Dawn Elizabeth Brantley. Survivors include his three sons Michael B. Fordham of Richmond Hill, GA, John E. Fordham of San Francisco, CA and Chuck (Kay) Fordham of Dublin; granddaughter, Taylor Saige Kersey of Dublin; grandson, William Michael Justice Fordham of Eatonton; great-grandson, Grahm Michael Kersey of Dublin; two brothers Bennie Fordham and Robert Fordham, both of Toomsboro and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00AM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
