Dublin Native James Lemuel Keen, Jr. (Lembo), age 62, died at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville, GA, on Wednesday, Sept. 14. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at the Townsend Funeral Home Chapel, 215 West Jackson Street, Dublin, GA, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 17. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. (Dorothea Elizabeth Harden) James Lemuel Keen, of Dublin, he graduated from Louisville Academy in Louisville in 1967. He received the Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, and did graduate work at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. A 35-year resident of Orlando, FL, he had retired from his position as a commercial horticultural designer at Ambius Corporation in Orlando and moved to Savannah, GA. He is survived by the following: his two loving sisters Sula Harvard Keen Altman and her husband Wayne, of Savannah; Elizabeth (Betsy) Harden Keen Polhill and her husband Jim, of Louisville; one niece Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Altman Young and her husband Adam, of Birmingham, AL; three nephews, Michael Wayne Altman and his wife Maureen, of Cairneyhill, Scotland, James Brown Polhill, V and his wife Kim, of Augusta, and David Nathaniel Polhill and his wife Ginny, of Dublin; seven great nieces and three great nephews; four loving, devoted aunts and uncles; and, six first cousins for whom he had great affection. Family members extend special appreciation to his caregivers at Jefferson Hospital in Louisville. The family suggests that memorials be donated to the Jefferson Hospital Foundation, P. O.
