Memorial services for James Harold "Jim" Necessary, age 76, of Dublin, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Dr. Joel Dent and Rev. Steve Patton will officiate. Mr. Necessary was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a Kentucky Colonel. He moved to Dublin about 16 years ago from Floyd County, KY. He was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and was an avid golfer. Mr. Necessary was preceded in death by his parents, William P. Necessary and Virginia Kozee Necessary and a brother, Donald Ray Necessary. He passed away September 17, 2012. He is survived by his wife Mary Love Dominy Necessary of Dublin; daughter, Vikki (Willie) McGuire of Prestonsburg, KY; son, Kenneth (Connie) Necessary of Louisa, KY; two sisters, Carol Jean York of Merritt Island,FL and Barbara Sue Lucas of Dublin; brother, Danny Robin Necessary of Hitchins, KY; step-daughter, Kathy (Scott) Hoffmann, of Tigacay, SC; step-son, Cregg (Cynthia) Dominy of Dublin and seven grandchildren.
