Graveside services for James Albert Wallace, age 74, of Dublin were held at 3:30PM Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jim Dominey, Dr. Rick Mitchell, Dr. Larry Roberts, and Rev. Deborah Wallace officiated. He died Friday, November 19, 2010. Mr. Wallace was a retired electrical engineer with the Georgia Power Company. He was a member of the Civitan Club and First United Methodist Church of Dublin. Mr. Wallace was a founding member, board member, and treasurer of the Middle Georgia Gun Owners Association. He was also a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, and member of the Laurens County Republican Party. He was an Eagle Scout and continued to be involved in scouting as an adult. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his parents, Harry B. Wallace and Gaynell Wyche Wallace, and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn B. Wallace, of Dublin, daughter, Rev. Deborah Jeannette Wallace, of Macon, and several cousins. B. J. Powell, Dan Young, Mike Edge, Rusty Carr, Dr. Bob Morris, Mark Trexler, Carl Avery, and Harold Adside will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Saturday from 600 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home
