Services for Jane Knight, age 73, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the East Dublin First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kenny Rowland will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Knight died Saturday, January 3, 2015. Mrs. Knight was a homemaker, member of the Dublin Boot Scooters, and active member of East Dublin First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Landrum and Cynthia Ussery Landrum; husband, Wade Franklin Knight; and son, Greg Thomas. Survivors include her children, David Mimbs, of Dublin, Nelda (Charles) Paul, of Wrightsville, Janice (Michael) Tyson, of Dublin; grandchildren, Layla Paul, Joey (Jennifer) Thomas, Sierra (Joe) Wilkes, Adam (Kaitlin) Tyson, Austin Tyson, Ace Phillips, Jonathan (Bonney) Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Gatlin Thomas; great grandchildren, Jaxten and Jordyn Thomas, Keagan and Kash Wilkes; sisters, Rita Parker, and Catherine Miller; brothers, Johnny (Betty) Landrum, and Freddie (Annie) Landrum, all of Dublin; numerous nieces and nephews. Josh Thomas, Gatlin Thomas, Farrell Landrum, Wade Tyson, Larry Echols, and Adam Tyson will serve as pallbearers.
