Janet Stinson Douglas, age 92, of Dublin, GA. passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Mrs. Douglas a lifelong resident of Laurens County was born on February 2, 1927, in the community of Brewton. Mrs. Douglas was a loving wife, mama, and granny. She was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Douglas retired from J.P. Stevens after thirty years of service. She later retired from Oxford Shirt Factory.

Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by her parents; father, Rob Stinson, mother, Lilla Mae Stinson, twin sister Janice Peyton, sister, Evelyn Holland and brother, Don Stinson. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, George Douglas, daughter, Tina Coté (Joe) Cumming, GA, Leigh Coleman (Jeffrey) Cadwell, GA, step-daughter, Saundra Porter, Yonker, GA. Grandchildren; Briana Green, Janna Warren, RyLeigh Coleman, Bobbi Gordon, Shannon Hanson, Nicole Maloney, Clint Coleman, Jeremy Coleman, Lilla and Layna Green.

Visitation will be held at Townsend Funeral Home on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 12:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm and burial will follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev Jeffrey Coleman will officiate.
