Janice Faye Daniel, age 74 of Rentz, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, September 8, 2014 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Chaplain David Julian and Mr. Greg Senters will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Ms. Daniel was born in Rentz, GA to the late J.T. Daniel and the late Margaret Geneva Hooks Daniel. She was of the Baptist faith and a United States Marine Veteran. She retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base after 27 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Daniel. Survivors include brothers, Jimmy Daniel (Polly) of Johnson City, TN and Billy Daniel (Billie) of Rentz; nephews, Paul Daniel of Johnson City, TN, Greg Daniel of Dublin and Joey Daniel of Albany; nieces, Robbie Amerson of Rentz, Sonya Hood of Gate City, VA and Danee` Oliver of East Dublin and several great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Paul Daniel, Kenneth Amerson, Scotty Hood, Jake Hood, Jamie Amerson and Billy Oliver.
